Reggae-soul sensation LeAnn has not let up since re-entering the music game at the end of 2010.After taking a break for a couple of years, LeAnn who is also known as Keisha Wright made a strong re-entrance into the industry at the end of last year.
She released two brand new singles, namely, “thinking about you” and “free” (both of which are getting considerable amount of radio rotation), she shot and released a music video for “free”(which is currently on mild rotation on TVJ, Hype, CVM, Tempo and RETV), and recently did an intimate and interactive performance at Christopher’s Jazz Café.
Having no intentions of slowing down, LeAnn is now in the studio laying tracks for her mix CD which she has decided to call, Guilty Genesis. The mix promises to be a combination of reggae, dancehall, R&B and soul. All efforts are being made to have this mix available to the public by mid May.
LeAnn is also set to join a star cast line up which includes the likes of Mavado, Sizzla, Bounty, Beenie and several others, on this year’s Taurus Bash, which will be held at the Chocolate Villa located at Junction in St. Elizabeth on Saturday, May 14th. Guest selectors for the night are DJ Matrix and Digital Chris. While Pretty Boy Floyd will host along side Ron Mushette from Irie FM. Admission is $1,000.
